Who we are

MATT is a security practice operated by Mattersec Labs Inc., San Francisco, California. Contact: contact@matt.security.

What we collect

Information you give us when booking a consultation or contacting us (name, work email, company, notes), and standard technical data when you visit this site (IP address, browser, pages viewed) collected through privacy-respecting analytics.

Customer engagements

During an audit or assurance engagement we access customer systems with read-only credentials agreed in writing. We observe product behaviour; we do not copy, export or retain customer end-user data. Findings and rules are stored under the engagement agreement and deleted or returned at its end.

How we use information

To respond to enquiries, deliver engagements, improve this site, and send occasional updates you have asked for. We do not sell personal information.

Third parties

Scheduling and payment for consultations are handled by Cal.com and its payment processor under their own terms. Video calls use the platform agreed at booking.

Retention and your rights

Enquiry data is kept for 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner. You may request access, correction or deletion at contact@matt.security. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.
